Hi, I'm Brittany Spencer.

As a young adolescent, Brittany often thought that her dream job was to be a prison warden or a federal judge as both seemed compatible with her conscientious nature. Unsure as to where life would take her, she always knew that she had a clear desire to help others.  


After graduating from high school and relocating to Huntsville, Alabama to attend her alma mater, Alabama A&M University, she decided to pursue a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. While going to school full time and working as a student assistant in the Department of Mathematics, at the age of 19, she was offered a part time leasing agent position at a local tax credit apartment complex. And this is when the spark happened.


Although the learning curves of housing were sometimes tenacious as a young newbie, this was the spark that Brittany was missing. It was oddly satisfying since she was learning the formalities of state regulated housing, while being able to utilize her creative flare with marketing and leasing the apartment units. She continued the journey in leasing until the opportunity presented itself to work in federal housing. Altruistic in nature, Brittany quickly developed a passion for public service, while turning down other lucrative opportunities related to her field of study. Driven by the power of purpose, she believes that housing chose her. 


Brittany Spencer grew up in Monroe County, Alabama. After graduating from J.F. Shields High School in 2005, she attended Alabama A&M University where she received her undergraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. During her undergraduate career, she participated in various business and professional organizations. In 2013, she obtained a Master of Public Administration from Florida Institute of Technology at Redstone Arsenal. Brittany has been employed in federal housing for the last 13 years, where she currently serves as the Interim Assistant Director of the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Giving her life to public service, her 16 years of tenure in housing laid the groundwork for the next fascinating endeavor, real estate sales. Brittany obtained her Alabama Real Estate License in 2021. 


Brittany also has a love for cars, interior design, and of course…. real estate!
